Abstract

The incorporation of IoT (Internet of Things) in manufacturing has led to more efficient production processes, improved operator welfare, and enhanced safety. However, a critical gap remains the lack of seamless communication between factory operators. This paper addresses this issue while considering factors that hinder effective communication such as the interference caused by proximity sensors and the high noise levels typical of factory environments. To overcome these challenges, this paper proposes a Text-to-Speech (TTS) conversion solution. The approach utilized ensures clear communication, circumventing these limitations. Additionally, this paper elaborates the MATLAB script used, offering readers a detailed, Do-It-Yourself (DIY) guide for implementation.
