Abstract
Health industry has witness changes due to technological advancement. A study was conducted using 141 respondents kobo toolbox questionnaire software application which identified digital health technologies availability for healthcare delivery among women, examined level of awareness and readiness of women towards digital health technologies for healthcare delivery, determined factors influencing adoption and use of digital health technologies among women and also to identify the challenges militating against access and utilization of digital health technologies among women. Data was analysed using Descriptive statistics, Likert scale, Average Digital Healthcare Technology Index and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results revealed that women are 43 years old on average, married with secondary or tertiary education with household size of 5. The study shows that majority have cellular devices and internet accessibility and also that half of the respondents are aware of digital healthcare technologies while less than 33% have used it before. Also, the index revealed that digital health technologies are not widely used. The findings indicate that marital status and educational attainment are factors affecting the utilisation of digital health technology. Obstacles impeding the utilisation of digital technology include restricted access to digital devices and internet connectivity, as well as language or cultural barriers. The study recommends that there should be more awareness on the usefulness of digital health care technologies, stakeholders should provide more accessibility to digital health tools by enhancing internet connectivity and guidelines that will increase the privacy of the users should be implemented so that the users can be rest assured that their privacy is secured.
